  1. All those cameras speed & hoopla are masterfully dwarfed by the JVC PX100!! It’s sad but topical that it was left of of the race. Besides Ferraris shouldn’t race pentos. The same is true for sharks swimming with guppies. In closing the JVC PX100 isn’t in this action cam test because it would make the competition non-existent!!!

    your missing the best cam
    canon t3i

  3. irritating backgr music

  4. Why? It does have 12fps continuous shooting with AF, but only a 12 shot buffer, and depending on what file size is chosen, you could sit there for 2 minutes while the camera buffers your 12 shots. Not very good for a sports or nature photographer who needs a good amount of images quickly.

  5. The hs20 does have slow mo

Are all the reviewers at WDC always so uninteresting in their presentation? Respectfully, try to be charismatic. The topics are good and deserve attention, but the reviewers are very hard to listen to.

I really wanted to test it out at best buy, but it wasn’t even out of its box yet. The other dales from canon and Nikon were there, but no Sony. Eventually I had them open the box for me, so i was able to hold it(has such a great grip ) but I couldnt test out the shooting capabilities as it didn’t have battery in it yet 😛

  10. me too tested it out at the store, it was amazing, especially for the price, 12 frames per second in crop and 10 frames per second in full resolution

My eye is on the Sony A57. 🙂

  12. Wow.. the Sony SLT’s are.. really really good.

I mean in a world with Nikon and Canon to be.. called out a great sports shooter that is a honor.

  13. What about nikon D90?

  14. “compact can go uptp 40pics/sec”? Well, Casio EX-F1 does 60 shots per sec, imo #1 highspeed classic!

  15. GOLF!!! NON STOP ACTION!!! ACTION!!! AACTIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!! *sorry that just doesnt cut is a sport

  16. What about the Sony A57?

  17. good

  18. Where you looking at man?

  19. Hi.
For ur information, Pentax K-5 is 1 of the fastest AF in DSLR, apart of this, work with manual focus for good quality photography:)

  20. Sony Alpa A77 is my choice.

  22. Fujifilm FinePix HS20 EXR or the nikon p500 what would be best for filming snowboard/skateboard videos but also takeing some pics

I’m sticking with my box browny.

  25. The Sony NEX-5 (not mentioned here) is the one I liked and it also a sub-£1000 and takes images as good as from a proper DSLR. If you’re learning photography this is one to look at for sure. Overall though I liked your review.
